To the Sea
Ready to chase the breath of the wind to conquer the sunny panoramas of the Riviera delle Palme? Choose sailing or kayak excursions in Finale Ligure to indulge in spending carefree hours surrounded by nature in the setting of the Western Ligurian Riviera. During navigation you can admire the view without haste while the sun gilds your skin. And again, coming across languid beaches and interesting sightings along the coastline, such as the splendid vision offered by the Saraceni Bay, among the most delightful on the entire Riviera, one of the most sought-after destinations by holidaymakers. The Varigotti district, near which the aforementioned Baia dei Saraceni is located, is one of the hamlets that form Finale Ligure. The city sees among its peculiarities the urban conformation given by the union of four different nuclei: the coastal ones of Varigotti, Finalmarina and Finalpia, and Finalborgo, located in the hinterland and included among the "most beautiful villages in Italy". The latter, located a short distance from the sea and surrounded by medieval walls, is characterized by a profusion of fifteenth-century buildings embellished with loggias, coats of arms, stuccoes and precious decorations. Walking through the alleys of Finale Ligure and on the paths that cross the hills it is possible to appreciate the intertwined dialogue between the different souls of the city and cross centuries of history, encountering prehistoric caves, finds from the Roman, Byzantine and medieval eras along the way . The natural context is no less fascinating, characterized by steep cliffs like those that stand near Capo Noli and Caprazoppa and by golden beaches where you can be lulled by the lapping of the waves.
